Hi guys! For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Kaitlyn Mercy. I’m 16 years old and a high school graduate, as well as a human trafficking survivor with a passion for helping people.
Summer 2014 is going to be different from any other summer I’ve ever had. I’m going to spend about a month of my summer in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I’ll be working with a group of awesome people from an organization called Raw Impact. They provide training to law enforcement and medical professionals on how to recognize and treat victims of human trafficking. They also provide help, hope, and a spiritual message for children and their families.
I’ve been invited to stay with the founder of Raw Impact for the month of July, but in order for me to get there and to bring the supplies that they need, I need to raise a total of $3,000. I’ve already started raising the money, but I still need a lot more.
If you want to help me out, I would really appreciate it. Every amount counts! Even if you can only give a dollar, it’s still appreciated more than you know!
You can find my Go Fund Me page here
If you can’t or don’t want to help out by donating money, please consider donating a little of your time by saying a prayer for the people who are struggling there, and that I can do as much as possible to help them.
I know I’m only one person, and that I can’t do a whole lot to change the way things are in Cambodia, but I do know that I can make at least a little bit of a difference.
Thank you for your time and God bless!
